Our good friends, Scott and Ashley, have opened up a new restaurant in Salem, Virginia named The Blue Apron Restaurant and Red Rooster Bar. It is outstanding.
We ate lunch there the first week it opened earlier this month and sampled several items on the menu. I can tell you first hand that the Butternut Squash with Duck confit was to die for and then I had the Tender Roast Chicken with Bacon-Wrapped Dates, Aligot Potatoes and Smoked Broccoli Veloute, which was even better.
It’s located at 210 E. Main Street in Salem. If you live in Salem, Roanoke, or Blacksburg or just visiting the area, I highly recommend you check it out.
Finally, the website for the Blue Apron and Red Rooster will be leveraging Tumblr! It will be the first custom theme that Business Bullpen has designed. We hope to launch it in the coming weeks.
