Me, Her, the Boy and a Dog

The adventures of me, her, my boy and our dog as we navigate life in a crazy world. We love the outdoors, sports, reading, playing, and of course, the Virginia Tech Hokies and the William & Mary Tribe.

Also, I founded the GoFightWinVT Tumblr, so if you're a Hokie, give it a follow. And, feel free to check out my Project 365 Tumblr.

Here’s my contribution to the wedding theme of the day. Let’s see yours!

GPOYW: This picture is from our wedding day last year. I am helping my Boy get dressed up in his little tux. The day flew by so quickly, so I’m thankful for the wonderful photos we have to help me remember these special, tender moments. He looks so little in this photo…

We’re picking out our favorite photos for our wedding album and this pic is just one out of nearly 700 that made the first cut. We’ve narrowed it down to 105.

The wedding photos are in! Click on the photo above to see them all.

GPOYW: From left to right, Gina, Her, Hokie Bird, Me and Bret. Thanks to Bret for posting the photos! See more on Brett’s Flickr.

UPDATE (1/13/11): For the record, we had a dry reception, so I am not intoxicated. I just love my Hokies so freakin’ much. Plus, this was one week after we smoked FSU for the ACC title, so between marrying an absolutely gorgeous and loving woman, my Hokies winning 11 straight games and the Hokie Bird showing up at my wedding; clearly you can understand why I was so excited.

Yep. This is pretty much how I reacted when I saw the Hokie Bird at my wedding. Need proof? Click on the pic.

This picture was taken on the steps of the Blacksburg Jewish Community Center, which is right next to our church. People driving by while we took photos honked, smiled and waved. One car full of college girls even turned around so they could drive by again.
But one car in particular got us laughing pretty good when they rolled down the windows and yelled “Mazel Tov!”

Our waiter helped us celebrate our wedding tonight with a surprise dessert … in addition to the dessert we ordered.
