Damn straight.
Video from the 3.2 mile Run in Remembrance at Virginia Tech on Friday, April 16, 2010. Ginger and I both ran today and it was an incredible atmosphere to be surrounded by so much love and hope as we remembered our fallen Hokies.

I produced this video a couple of days after April 16, 2007. We all felt somewhat helpless and lost in the hours, days and weeks following that horrible day. I remember going to the War Memorial Chapel the day after 32 of our Hokies were taken from us and shedding many tears as I sat there trying to figure out why.
We all found different ways of coping with what happened and this was one of the ways that helped me process everything. I’m on campus almost every day of the week and every time I drive by the Drill Field or War Memorial, I think about our 32 and I know I will neVer forgeT.
Part of the 3.2 Mile Remembrance Run at Virginia Tech included a trip through the famed tunnel that leads onto Worsham Field at Lane Stadium. The same tunnel that the football team runs through. While I’ve walked that tunnel more times than I can remember, it was a unique experience to do so today with all those other Hokies.
Thousands of runners participated in the 3.2 Mile Remembrance Run to honor the victims of the April 16, 2007 shootings at Virginia Tech. Today, hundreds of maroon and orange balloons were released following a moment of silence.
