Dennis Apple and his wife Buelah came to StoryCorps to talk about their son, Denny. Nearly 21 years ago, Denny came down with mononucleosis. Before going to bed one night, he took some medicine, and talked about where he wanted to sleep.

A very interesting interview with two of the three Beastie Boys (the third is undergoing cancer treatment). It’s interesting and somewhat surreal to see “rappers” from my generation well into middle age. Still diggin’ their tunes, though.

I heard this story on NPR this morning and immediately wanted a standing desk. Also, when I got to work, I knew I had to take photos today around campus, so I decided to walk from my office to get the photos I needed. I walked nearly three miles. I hear stories like these and I miss working as a reporter when I was NEVER in the office.
