Me, Her, the Boy and a Dog

So we’re folding laundry when I hear Nic get up to use the bathroom. A few seconds pass and I don’t hear the usual tinkling sound that generally follows his sleepy stumble from his bed to the bathroom. I lean back so I can see down the hallway and into the bathroom, but there’s nobody at the toilet. I step back and turn to get a better look… He’s peeing in the tub! He was completely out of it and when he was done, he went back to bed. It was like we weren’t even there. The bath mat, shower curtain and liner all went into the laundry. Ginger and I had a good chuckle and were thankful that he didn’t have an accident in the bed. But the tub? That’s a first! Has that ever happened with your kids?

In my first softball game in a year, I went 1-2 with a walk, scored a run and caught three outs in right center including two on the run. I’ll pay for it in the morning, but I learned that I have a long way to go to get in soccer shape for the fall season. I can run long distances, but need serious work at short sprints.
