I just check the status of my iPhone, which I ordered on Friday, April 4. It has not shipped yet and according to the account, it is not scheduled to ship until April 11-15. What the hell is that? Why does it take six business days (or more) to put an iPhone in a box and mail it? That is absurd.
Then, once it ships, it will take 3-5 business days to get to me. So, a phone that was in stock and ordered on April 4, could arrive as late as April 21. That is a 17-day turnaround which is unacceptable. I have been assured that the phone is worth the wait, but 17 days to ship something that is in stock is very bad customer service.
Also, when I tried to click on the Live Chat through the Apple Web site, I got an Error 404 page. Nice.
