In the first meeting a couple weeks ago, the Hokies won in charlottesville for the first time since 1968 and snapped a nine-game losing streak at uva (the two teams played at neutral sites from 1976-2000). Tech became the first ACC team to win in the don’s john since it opened in 2006. Now the Hokies focus on sweeping the two-game regular-season series, something VT hasn’t done since 1969.
