We travel back in time to the year 1991 when Boyz II Men hit the scene with their debut album Cooleyhighharmony. The first single off the album (yes, it was actually an album back then) was “Motown Philly.” I went to high school with Noel and Aaron Kane, who were in a group called “Sudden Impact.” They were signed by Michael Bivens and were featured in the Motown Philly video along with ABC (Another Bad Creation … ha - kinda prophetic because they were pretty bad).
The photo above is screen shot of the video with the group Sudden Impact. They later changed their name to “White Guyz” (snickering) and were never heard from again. I didn’t know Aaron all that well even though we were in the same grade, but I like his older brother Aaron - he was a really nice guy and helped me out during my sophomore year when I went out for the baseball team. He took me under his wing and had it not been for his extra coaching, I probably would not have made the team.
