Well, go ahead and add another event to my “that’s a first” list. A coconut came in the mail today. Seriously. There was a coconut on my doorstep when I got home today with Nic. No box. No wrapping. Just a coconut with a USPS Priority Mail sticker stuck on it. I had no idea you could mail … a coconut without a box.
Who sent this coconut? Well, it was Ginger! She is vacationing in Hawaii and sent this coconut to Nic, care of me. Nic thought it was really cool, especially when he shakes it and can hear the coconut milk inside sloshing around. Plus, as you can tell from the picture below, it has “Aloha” and “Hawaii” painted on it in very bright colors along with a turtle - a winning combination with a 4-year-old.
Thanks, Ginger! Have a safe flight home on Sunday/Monday - we miss you!
