Netflix CEO and Founder sends apology and announces that Netflix is becoming Qwikster, at least for the DVD part. Netflix will become a streaming only service and if you have the DVD/streaming package, you’ll soon see two charges on your statement. The price remains the same, but will be split up. Read the letter here. Personally, I don’t think it’s a big deal that they raised the prices. It was dirt cheap to begin with and now I think they’re at a reasonable rate. Think about it, for less than the cost of a single DVD, you have access to a crap load of DVDs and streaming content. So shut up already about the price hike. If you don’t like it, try another service or if you can find one, go to Blockbuster.
