Me, Her, the Boy and a Dog

The adventures of me, her, my boy and our dog as we navigate life in a crazy world. We love the outdoors, sports, reading, playing, and of course, the Virginia Tech Hokies and the William & Mary Tribe.

bees-knees: mmpearls: Notre Dame Prep (my mom, aunts, and, more recently, cousins Lexie and Yeardley’s alma mater) in Baltimore, MD has set up a fund to build a new turf field in Yeardley’s name. In addition, for every dollar raised, one dollar will be donated for a scholarship to be created in Yeardley’s name.  Donations are now accepted at http://www.active.com/donate/ndplove.  Yards loved NDP and loved playing lacrosse. Every donation helps her wonderful, generous spirit live on in a place that she truly loved.  This is a wonderful opportunity to commemorate the life of a young woman who was extraordinary, charitable and truly talented.  Such a sad and tragic end to a promising life.
